Northeast Veterans Trauma Rehabilitation Center

New Construction
Gardner, Massachusetts

A collaboration between Veteran’s Homestead, Inc. and Mount Wachusetts Community College to provide a healthy environment for veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The project includes a Therapy Building with a pool, massage, physical therapy and meeting rooms, as well as 10 duplexes for veterans & their families. 28 geothermal wells provide heat & hot water, and 8,364 square feet of PV panels provide electricity.  The project is expected to receive LEED Gold.

New street level accessible entrance and expansion of common areas in Berkshire Towers. The Project received an Honor Award for Accessible Design in Public Architecture, from the Massachusetts Architectural Access Board and the Boston Society of Architects.

A major renovation and expansion of the Philip Greer Store, the student center at the Academy, and conversion of un-used squash courts to a new, dual-level, 7,000 sq. ft. fitness center to serve the athletic department and the wider Academy community.

Wilbraham & Monson Academy

Renovation Study
Wilbraham, Massachusetts

Study for the possible renovation of the existing Student Center and adjoining Music Program Space. The Student Center is approximately 6,000 sq. ft., and the Music Program is approximately 4,500 sq. ft. Also explored a new 800 sq. ft. addition that would provide an additional seating area at the Student Center Level and an outdoor dining deck for the Campus Dining Hall above.
