Sip is a new coffee shop in downtown Northampton, MA.  The design encourages customers to engage the "slow-coffee" brewing process. Seats at the counter allow for interaction with the barista; long banquettes around the historic storefront windows create places to congregate in the light; and seats by the fireplace inspire a moment to relax.  Birch trees, beautiful in their simplicity, are referenced in the graphics, fireplace, and the plywood that creates the unique furniture and retail displays.
