A study for the 2026 Massachusetts ADU Challenge, “Meadowline Acres” is a 770-square-foot ADU designed to support aging in place through accessibility, comfort, and long-term adaptability.
A clear single-story layout, generous clearances, and minimized thresholds allow for intuitive movement and independent daily living. Organized on a disciplined 4-foot structural grid, the home also supports cost-effective construction and practical replication across Massachusetts.
