Mallory was drawn to the work of Kuhn Ruddle Architects because of its human scale. Having previously designed workplace interiors and larger scale projects, she was interested in a slightly more intimate type of design. She loves projects that can have a beneficial impact through education, community-oriented organizations, and residential buildings of all types.

In high school she was fortunate to be able to choose elective architecture and interior design classes. She dove enthusiastically into these endeavors, marveling at the prospect of turning such creative interests into a career. Mallory chose to study interior design in college and has never looked back. She is a graduate of Suffolk University with a BFA in Interior Design and was awarded the Design Excellence commendation for her senior thesis project.

Mallory loves to pay close attention to the details of a project: to be able to change the ambience of a room with lighting; to help a space feel more intimate or dynamic with complexities of scale; to layer colors and textures to create a welcoming environment and interest for the occupant’s eye. Her holistic approach to design focuses on fostering connection between people and the spaces in which they thrive.

In her spare time, Mallory can be found at a yoga class, cooking, swimming in the many local Massachusetts waterfalls, or painting watercolor greeting cards for her Etsy shop.
