Project Description
A renovation and addition to a longtime second residence of a NYC couple. In retirement they wanted to live full time in this home, and to welcome extended family for visits while maintaining a sense of their own privacy.
KRA renovated the existing house, and designed an airy, elegant, warm addition that more than doubled the original square footage. The addition — with cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors and window seats — commands majestic views of the valley through plentiful windows and is connected to the main house by a glazed, slate-paved passageway.
