Building with intelligence and sensitivity has been a lifelong passion for Charles. With 40 years of residential, commercial and institutional design experience, he has learned the importance of listening to what the client has to say and strives to translate their ideas and dreams into built form. He also appreciates the importance of the collaboration between the architect and builder and thrives in the design-build process.

Charles received both his Bachelor of Fine Art and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from the Rhode Island School of Design. He has lived in several regions throughout the country, gaining appreciation for the way architecture and the practice of building adapt and transform themselves to meet the needs of climate, building methods, and client.

When not in the office, Charles is busy raising his daughter, playing music, throwing pots, and communing with nature. He currently sits on the Greenfield Zoning Board of Appeals.
