Clara joined KR as an employee in early 2026, after briefly interning with the firm. She says that it was the people who drew her to Kuhn Riddle. “Everyone is always learning and growing together. It’s a great atmosphere!”

She is fascinated by the materials used in buildings, by their compositions and properties, and by how they work together. She carefully attends to details, and looks closely at “what is there, and what will be, and at things that might otherwise go unnoticed.”

Since her childhood in Ghana, Clara has been interested in science and in the creative arts. She initially majored in chemistry and intended to study pharmacy – until she visited a friend who was studying architecture, during her first week of college. Clara realized that architecture was the perfect melding of her varied interests.

Clara received her Bachelor of Architectural Studies from Mount Holyoke College in 2017. She completed her degree requirements for her Master of Architecture at UMass Amherst in January 2024 and expects to graduate within the next year.

She and her husband live in Connecticut, with their young daughter. When not working, Clara is a photographer, runs a home bakery, and sews her own clothing.
