Lindsay says, “I am excited to be part of a firm that is woman-owned, and is focused on equity, sustainability, and community outreach.”
A lifelong artist, designer and dancer with a strong analytical side, she obtained a B.S. in chemistry from UCAL Santa Cruz. Missing the arts and design in her life, she later entered the architectural program at UMass, Amherst – and there she found her passion. “I love architecture, it activates all parts of my brain,” she says.
Lindsay’s primary architectural interest is in public spaces, and in designing projects that are used by members of the public to foster community interaction and development. Coming from the west coast, Lindsay also is fascinated by the historic elements and stories that are woven into the much older buildings in New England.
A former student intern for Kuhn Riddle, Lindsay describes her return to the firm as an architect as “bookending” her career to date. “It’s satisfying to see how far I’ve come in in those years, and to rejoin a firm whose values are so aligned with mine.”
A Western Massachusetts resident, Lindsay enjoys hiking and antiquing, drawing and painting, dancing (modern and hip hop), and spending time with her husband and two young children.
