422 Amity Street

Mixed-use project proposed for the intersection of Amity Street and University Drive. The project with replace the former Rafters building and the existing Encharter Insurance building with two new buildings. Each will be 4 stories along University Drive and step up to five stories at the rear of the site. 

 

A variety of cladding materials and rhythmic steps in the façade create a pedestrian scaled street scape. The project has the potential for up to 85 units. Some of the upper level units will have views of the Holyoke ranges or Umass campus.
