Northampton Cooperative Bank

Branch office of a local bank with retail and commercial space. The small site and adjacency to a residential neighborhood required an integrated approach to the program. Siting the two buildings across a common area allows each structure to have a presence on the street as well as visible parking. Landscaping in front softens the street line and gives space back to the public for benches and shade. The project received an award from The Northampton Historical Commission in 2006.
