UMass Amherst – Fine Arts Center Concert Hall

The Fine Arts Concert Hall is located in the iconic Kevin Roche 1960’s brutalist style building in the heart of the UMass Amherst campus. Kuhn Riddle was engaged to review options to restore or replace the 2,000 original seats and provide new interior finishes. Ultimately it was determined that the structure of the original seats were in good condition and the best option was to refurbish the seats. The scope of work included adding accessible seating.
